Abstract
												⺠Nanoscale and edge effects on electronic properties of graphene are theoretically discussed. ⺠Electronic states of graphene nanoribbons are analyzed based on tight-binding model. ⺠Ferrimagnetic edge spin polarized states are reviewed using mean field approach. ⺠Half-metallic states due the effect of electric field or edge chemical modification are discussed.
