Abstract
⺠Nonlinear optical properties of an anisotropic quantum dot are investigated. ⺠The optical properties of this system are studied in the presence of a magnetic field. ⺠The optical absorption coefficients and refractive index changes are obviously influenced by the characteristic frequency. ⺠The dependence of the optical absorption coefficients and refractive index changes on the dot radius is investigated.
