Abstract
⺠Substitution of Ti with Cr or V in Pd/TiAl interfaces is energetically favorable. ⺠Interstitial Cr and V atoms should be unfeasible with positive heat of formation. ⺠Both impurity atoms of Cr and V would induce an increase of interface energy. ⺠Substitution of V at the Pd/TiAl interfaces should be much easier than that of Cr.
