Abstract

In the framework of the Blonder–Tinkham–Klapwijk model we have studied the quasiparticle transport in normal-metal/insulator/metal/p wave superconductor Junction (N/I/N/p), where the N/I/N region is a quantum wire. We calculate the quantum point contact conductance in N/I/N/p as a function of the bias voltage at zero temperature based on the Bogoliubov–de Gennes equations. Unlike the case in N/I/N/d superconductor junctions, the zero-bias conductance peaks appear in the single-mode case. The number of resonances for the quantum point contact differential conductance for the px wave superconductor is different from that for the py wave superconductor.
