Abstract
We propose an acoustic wave rectifier comprising double arrays of periodic triangular holes, inspired from the ray-acoustics. We numerically investigate the transmission rates of waves using the Finite-Difference Time-Domain method, and find the optimal position of the arrays for efficient rectification. Very close arrangement of the arrays provides high efficiency and large transmission rate.
