Abstract
We have measured the reversible magnetization of Bi1.84Pb0.34Sr1.91Ca2.03Cu3.06O10+δ (Bi-2223) and HgBa2Ca2Cu3O8+δ (Hg-1223), having three CuO2 planes as a function of the temperature and magnetic field. By employing the Hao-Clem model, superconducting parameters, such as the penetration depth and the coherence length, are obtained. From the results, we confirmed that the effective carrier mass for Hg-1223 is about three-times larger than that for Bi-2223 due to the higher carrier density in Hg-1223.
