Abstract
The magnetic properties of polycrystalline PrRh2Si2 were studied by means of magnetization, electrical resistivity and powder neutron diffraction measurements. The compound crystallizes in the tetragonal body-centered ThCr2Si2-type crystal structure. It is a collinear antiferromagnet below 68 K with the magnetic structure of the AFI-type. The Pr magnetic moments are parallel to the cc-axis and amount to 3.07(2) μB at 1.55 K.
