Abstract
⺠Mo5SiB2 is an advanced silicide for high temperature structural applications. ⺠The fracture mode depends on testing temperatures. ⺠The fracture toughness increases with increasing temperature. ⺠The cavities formed at triple junctions degrade toughness at 1400 °C.
