Abstract
► We propose an unmixing technique to unravel the hidden information of bulk-metallic glasses (BMGs). ► Both the temperature-variation curves and locations of hidden events are extracted. The depth information is further explored by the thermal-electric analog. ► We reveal the trends and locations of BMG surface-temperature variations. ► We further clarify the fatigue mechanism based on our proposed model.
