Abstract
⺠We found a high ductility of Zr-Co-Pd alloys caused by martensitic transformation. ⺠Zr50Co40Pd10 alloy had the considerably high total elongation of 22%. ⺠Deformation induced martensite was observed in the B2 phase near the fractured area. ⺠The enhancement of ductility is due to the transformation-induced plasticity.
