Abstract
⺠The V-type notch quench method was used in this study. ⺠Acidic and alkali environment can reduce the thermal fatigue crack initial life. ⺠Acidic and alkali environment can increase the crack propagation rate. ⺠Thermal attack results in significant loss of hardness.
