Abstract
► This paper adopted SPS process to prepare the TiN coated SiCf/W-20Cu composites. ► 0.8 wt.% TiN coated SiCf/W-20Cu composites with improved properties were obtained. ► TRS and TC of the composites were enhanced 50% and 31% respectively. ► TiN coating was effective to prevent the detrimental interfacial reaction.
