Abstract
⺠Application of cryogenic machining on difficult to cut porous sintered tungsten. ⺠GA based process performances optimization has been performed. ⺠Cryogenic machining is capable of producing satisfactory unsmeared surface. ⺠PCD cutting tools are more adept at resisting the harsh interaction with tungsten. ⺠Observed benefits in surface integrity and product quality of porous tungsten.
