Abstract
⺠PVD (Zr,Ti)N hard coatings are deposited on WC/TiC/Co cemented carbide. ⺠Friction and wear behavior and wear mechanism of the coatings are evaluated. ⺠EGC coating shows the best wear resistance under the same test conditions. ⺠The major failure mechanisms of the coatings are flaking and delamination
