Abstract
► Magnetization of milled W-Ni mixtures decreased with annealing temperature. ► Milling time was more influential on the magnetization of pure W powder. ► Milled W was transformed into HCP W or dissolved in Ni(W) at low temperature annealing. ► A new eta-type phase was observed by XRD method in annealed powders. ► The phases formed in annealed W-Ni milled powders were close to Ni10W and W3Ni2.
