Abstract
âºWe synthesize Zr based ceramic and composite powders which have nanometer scale via combustion synthesis. âºWe examine temperature distributions in the combustion wave to understand reaction mechanism. âºIncreasing NaCl mole fraction decreases particle size of the composites. âºParticle size reaches the nanometer scale near the combustion limit.
