Abstract
⺠Mg + C mixtures as combined reducers for molybdenum oxide. ⺠Carbon reduction of MoO3 to MoO2 under the combustion mode starts at 500 °C. ⺠MoO2 reduces by magnesium and carbon at higher temperatures yielding either MoO2 or Mo + Mo2C material.
