Abstract
⺠The friction and wear behaviors of WC/Co alloys with different WC grain sizes were evaluated up to 600 °C. ⺠The friction coefficient and wear rate of these alloys were quite sensitive to the test temperature. ⺠The carbide with the smallest WC grain size showed improved wear resistance at temperature up to 600 °C. ⺠The surface features of these alloys were related to the chemical transformation during sliding tests.
