Abstract
⺠ZrC particles were produced via SHS reaction in the Cu-Zr-C system. ⺠The formation route of ZrC particles sizes was discussed. ⺠The ZrC particles were controlled by the reaction-precipitation mechanism. ⺠The addition of Cu to Zr-C reactants participates and promotes the SHS reaction.
