Abstract
►The sequential disordering was of first Ni and then of W crystal lattices. ►Solubility of ~ 32 at.% W was achieved in metastable tetragonal Ni(W). ►Magnetic saturation of Ni decreased due to interference non-magnetic W particles. ►Magnetisation of W increased due to formation of nanograins and metastable close packed phase.
