Abstract
⺠ZrC particles were prepared by SHS reaction in the Fe-Zr-C powder mixtures. ⺠With increasing Fe contents, the sizes of ZrC particles are about 100 nm. ⺠The formation path of ZrC particles was discussed. ⺠The addition of Fe promotes the SHS reaction.
