Abstract
⺠Zirconium diboride was produced by both volume combustion and mechanochemical synthesis processes. ⺠Products obtained by these two processes were compared in terms of presence of side products and ease of obtaining ZrB2. ⺠Mechanochemical synthesis has advantages, such as absence of side products and easier purification of products.
