Abstract
⺠Si can effectively reduce the grain size and improve the strength of Mo-Si alloys. ⺠Fine grain, solid solution and particle strengthening are main strengthening mechanisms in the alloys. ⺠Calculations show that the strength of Mo-Si alloys is mainly governed by grain size.
