Abstract
In this study, we reported an Al86Ni7Er5Co1La1 bulk metallic glass, which exhibits ultrahigh strength of up to â¼1525Â MPa together with apparent work hardening and large ductile of â¼11%. The high plasticity is attributed to the multiple shear bands, which restrict the catastrophic failure of the bulk metallic glass, and finally increase the flow stress of the material resulting in a work hardening behavior.
