Abstract
It was measured: the imparted energy; the normal spectral emissivity; specific heat; resistivity (referred to the initial size of a specimen); specimen temperature from 2100 to 4500Â K. To obtain true temperature of the specimen the blackbody design was used. The temperature of the beginning and completion of phase transition (solid-liquid) is determined. The obtained results are considered together with the equilibrium Zr-C phase diagram.
