Abstract
Plenty of TiC nanocrystals grew on surface of metal Ti particles were prepared by a thermo-chemical reaction in acetone. The TiC nanocrystals/Ti-paraffin hybrids showed strong EM wave absorption capability in X-band, due to the good impedance match degree and destructive interference. The present study will offer an attractive candidate for EM wave absorption applications.
