Abstract
Nanostructured porous tin dioxide (SnO2) thin films have been synthesized by simple and cost effective galvanic technique. The synthesized porous SnO2 thin films show excellent photocatalytic activity for degrading methyl orange (MO) dye under light irradiation. The porous morphological grain growth due to annealing is likely to play an active role for this degradation.
