Abstract
The PL of the Ag-ZnO core-shell nanostructure showed obvious increase of UV emission and slight decrease of visible light emission compared to that of the pure ZnO. With the calcination temperature increasing from 300 to 600 °C, the primary peak located at 380 nm became stronger and sharper, indicating that the increasing calcination temperature made the samples crystallize better.
