Abstract
Phase equilibria in the Ti-Dy-Al system in the Ti-TiAl-DyAl2-Dy region at 850 °C were studied by the methods of X-ray diffraction, SEM and electron microprobe. The isothermal section at this temperature was constructed. The ternary compounds in the studied region were not found. The isothermal section at 850 °C is characterized by the three-phase regions αl + (αDy) + (Dy2Al), αl + α2 + (Dy2Al), α2 + (Dy2Al) + (Dy3Al2), α2 + (Dy3Al2) + (αDyAl2), (DyAl) + (αDyAl2) + (Dy3Al2) and α2 + (αDyAl2) + γ and appropriate two-phase areas.
