Abstract
CLBO single crystal was grown by top-seeded solution growth (TSSG) method using self-flux. The temperature characteristics of piezoelectric resonance frequency, electromechanical properties, frequency and temperature dependence of dielectric, a.c. conductivity and impedance spectroscopy for different cuts were studied in detail. It is the arrangement of the Cs+ and Li+ in the channels with their potential for motion that is likely to lead to the anisotropy of electric properties for different directions.
