Abstract
Mn2O3 hierarchical microspheres assembled from porous nanosheets were successfully synthesized by a two-step method. The flower-like Mn2O3 porous hierarchical microspheres display high specific discharge capacity with good cycling stability and excellent rate capability. These results prove that the capacity of materials with poor lithiation activity (such as Mn2O3) could be improved by utilizing their hierarchical porous structure.
