Abstract
⺠We made Si/TiNi cathode by depositing Si thin film on TiNi shape memory alloy current collector. ⺠We observed that stress-induced martensitic transformation occurred at TiNi current collector by the stress developed in Si thin film during charging and discharging. ⺠We confirmed that the superelasticity of TiNi current collector was effective to improve cycle life of Si/TiNi cathode.
