Abstract
The results of an experimental program that was focused on obtaining the Zn3Ta2O8 nanocrystalline synthesized by hydrothermal method using tantalum (V) oxide and zinc nitrate, the results of the nanomaterial's structure characterization and the optical spectral properties of such nanomaterials that were thoroughly investigated. Also, the experimental results are compared with ab initio calculations of electronic properties of Zn3Ta2O8.
