Abstract
⺠A warm pre-stretching process was carried out on AZ31 magnesium alloy. ⺠This process increased the grain size and weakened the basal texture. ⺠The pre-stretched sample showed much larger fracture elongations in both directions. ⺠The IE of the pre-stretched sample was increased by â¼54%, which meant better formability.
