Abstract
⺠The magnetocaloric properties of a manganite Pr0.73Pb0.27MnO3 have been studied. ⺠The Curie temperature has been found as 234 K. ⺠We have measured directly the adiabatic temperature change. ⺠The maximum magnetic entropy-change was determined as 4.7 J kgâ1 Kâ1 in 3 T. ⺠The maximum adiabatic temperature-change was determined as 2.5 K in 3 T.
