Abstract
⺠BaxSr1âxFe12O19 ferrites are prepared via sol-gel and solid state reaction methods. ⺠Grain size is influenced by the Ba content. ⺠Magnetic moments and anisotropy are sensitive to the local structure of Fe ions. ⺠HC is higher in samples obtained by sol-gel, oppositely to MS. ⺠Similar permanent magnet behavior is observed in both sets of samples.
