Abstract
⺠The MT temperatures change slightly with deformation in austenitic TiNi ribbons. ⺠The back MT temperatures increase 18 K with deformation in martensitic TiNi ribbons. ⺠The increase is mainly ascribed to the high-density dislocations. ⺠The Ti2Ni particles partially act on the change by the dislocation impediment.
