Abstract
► The MT temperatures change slightly with deformation in austenitic TiNi ribbons. ► The back MT temperatures increase 18 K with deformation in martensitic TiNi ribbons. ► The increase is mainly ascribed to the high-density dislocations. ► The Ti2Ni particles partially act on the change by the dislocation impediment.
