Abstract
⺠Crystallization kinetics of Ca65Mg15Zn20 BMG was analyzed by Avrami exponents and activation energy. ⺠The crystallization of Ca65Mg15Zn20 BMG was mainly governed by nucleation, and final stage was dominated by growth. ⺠CaMg2 was primarily precipitated due to its structure similar to Mg-centered clusters in amorphous Ca-Mg-Zn alloys. ⺠The crystal growth was considered to be dependent on the long-range diffusion of Mg atoms.
