Abstract
⺠Forsterite nanoparticles were synthesized by two step combustion-calcination processes. ⺠The highest amount of forsterite was obtained in sample which its fuel to nitrate molar ratio was 0.337. ⺠The luminescent intensity of Mg2SiO4:Eu3+ particles are much higher than MgO:Eu3+ ones.
