Abstract
⺠3D morphology of Fe bearing intermetallics were analysed using intermetallics extraction, microscopy and XRD. ⺠Cooling rate influences intermetallic size, morphology and interconnectivity. ⺠The relative fraction of β-AlFeSi phase increased as the cooling rate decreased.
