Abstract
⺠Fe-based MG coatings were prepared by gas tunnel type plasma torch. ⺠TiN reinforced Fe-mg coatings were formed with minimum oxidation. ⺠Microhardness of the coating increased with respect to TiN fraction. ⺠TiN reinforcement significantly enhanced the wear resistance of the Fe-mg coatings.
