Abstract
► Amplitude dependent internal friction increases with increasing grain size. ► Annealing changes distribution of point defects that influence internal friction. ► Internal friction at high strain is explained by plastic internal friction mechanism. ► Activation parameters and characters of grain boundary peak were studied. ► Two internal friction peaks related to recrystallization were found.
