Abstract
► The reason of optimal hydrogen content for Ti600 hot deformation is interpreted. ► 0.3 wt.% is the optimum hydrogen content for Ti600 when it is deformed at 850 °C. ► A new method for studying dehydrogenation of titanium alloys is proposed. ► The deformation mechanism of hydrogenated and unhydrogenated Ti600 is researched.
