Abstract
► FePO4-coated Li[Ni0.5Co0.2Mn0.3]O2 is prepared through co-precipitation routine. ► The FePO4-coated material has more excellent cycling stability and rate capability. ► The calculated DLi reveals the coated material with lower charge-transfer resistance.
