Abstract
⺠Sm2Co17 hard nanoparticles have been synthesized by the surfactant-assisted HEBM. ⺠The precursors had great effects on the microstructure of the obtained Sm2Co17. ⺠The Sm2Co17 nanoparticles were from the edge of the samples and the brittle areas.
