Abstract
⺠The low SFE in Ag caused a very large dislocation density after both ECAP and HPT. ⺠The minimum grain size achieved by both ECAP and HPT in Ag was about 200 nm. ⺠The dislocation density after HPT is three times larger than after ECAP. ⺠The low SFE in Ag resulted in significant twinning during both ECAP and HPT. ⺠Twin boundary frequency is also 2-3 times larger after HPT compared to ECAP.
