Abstract
⺠The influence of internal stress on magnetic and thermal properties of Finemet-type microwires was studied. ⺠The coercivity, Hc, increases with increasing internal stress (decreasing Ï-ratio) while the calorimetric peak of heat capacity in TC, ÎCp, decreases at the same time. ⺠Heat capacity peak in TC is very sensitive to relaxation and crystallization processes. ⺠DSC measurement can be used to control of amorphous and nanocrystalline soft magnetic microwires.
