Abstract
⸠The maximum value of magnetic entropy change of TbMn1.8Fe0.2 reaches 9.48 J kgâ1 Kâ1 for a field change ÎH = 5 T. ⸠The maximum adiabatic temperature change is 3.5 K for ÎH = 5 T, with a wide effective temperature range. ⸠The obtained relative cooling power reaches 235, 607, and 869 J kgâ1 for ÎH = 2, 5 and 7 T, respectively. ⸠These values are all quite large compared with other potential magnetic refrigerants.
