Abstract
▸ Crystallization kinetics of Al86Ni6Y4.5Co2La1.5 glass powder has been investigated. ▸ The first crystallization occurs by surface nucleation and one-dimensional growth. ▸ The hardness and elastic modulus show opposite trends on crystallization. ▸ The highest hardness (8.3 GPa) occurs at the second stage of crystallization. ▸ The lowest elastic modulus (58 GPa) occurs at the second stage of crystallization.
