Abstract
⺠Large-scale arrayed ZnO nanocrystals including ZnO hexagonal platforms and hamburger-like samples have been successfully fabricated by a simple hydrothermal method. ⺠ZnO with hexagonal platform-like morphology exhibited higher photocatalytic activity compared with that of the hamburger-like ZnO nanostructures. ⺠The theories of expose surfaces and oxygen vacancies were utilized to explain the photocatalytic mechanism.
